Menin Douro Estates, a Douro wine producer determined to leave a new legacy in this region, selected Omdesign to sign the image of its olive oil, which adopts the signature “Douro’s New Legacy”. This premium product adopted an elegant and minimalist image, with an exclusive illustration of the estate’s chapel occupying a prominent position on the label, enhanced by embossing that gives it an attractive design. The agency’s challenge was to maintain the simplicity and sophistication of this building, over 280 years old, without losing the details that distinguish it as a symbol of the estate. The remaining finishes and materials, namely stamping foil, UV varnish and fine paper, were carefully chosen by Omdesign to give this 360° label a distinctive image. All this was further reinforced by the elegant 50 cl bottle that holds this unique extra virgin olive oil, together with its neck label and resin medal, with the aim of positioning the product and its brand in a premium segment.
