Kopke, the oldest Port wine house, has launched “The Library Collection”, a truly unique and luxurious edition, which aims to honour and celebrate the journey and know-how acquired, since 1638, by this renowned producer of wines. Omdesign® developed the concept, design and entire production of this special collection. “The Library Collection” symbolizes the respect for the roots, origins and legacy entrusted to this house over the years. Composed by three differentiating nectars united by Port wine - a Very Very Old Tawny, a Vermouth and a Quinine, made at the beginning of the 20th century –, this combination stands out for its uniqueness and unparalleled character. Omdesign® delved into Kopke’s extensive wine and book library to bring this project to life. We reinterpreted old labels and concentrated the prestige and character of almost four centuries of history in a timeless work that accumulates narratives and proves that the peace of ageing can provide experiences that were not written, over the course of time, of the river, of every drop.
